La Canada del Barco is a complex built around the 2 swimming pools (one a children's pool) and gardens; El Penoncillo beach is located opposite of the complex and provides an ideal setting for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. The complex is located on a very quiet location set back from the coast road which gives it easy access, via the motorway to Malaga, Granada, Gibralter etc. Torrox Costa is within easy walking distance and Nerja is 5 mins away by car. Local attractions include the Nerja Caves, the National Park and Lake Vinuela and local markets. A few steps away from the apartment there is an excellent choice of restaurants and cafes (sun beds can be hired from those on the beach). You can eat out on the spacious balcony and enjoy the afternoon and evening sun whilst looking down at the pool or towards the sea or mountains further inlands.

- The complex is gated and secure and suitable for small children; the pool is only accessible via a gate (key necessary).

- Outside Balcony with awnings and Patio table (round) with 4 chairs, views to the sea and overlooking the swimming pool, gardens and mountains.

- Communal pool, children's pool with life lifeguard present in summer months and playground, gardens.

- In the complex there are also restaurants, solarium, lift, private parking, and very close by a supermarket (50m) etc.

- Accessibility: Wheelchair access is easy via the ramps and elevators.
